Prince Paris (Orlando Bloom/Legolas) of Troy steals the beautiful Greek woman, Helen (Diane Kruger), away from her husband, Menelaus, the king of Sparta, setting the two nations at war with each other...bloody siege to follow.

Achilles is played by Brad Pitt and the word is that we have plenty of "dropped trou" and views of his hind. Also, leather skirts will be in this summer.

I expect this $200,000,000 epic to be quite successful. It will have more LOTR style battles and lots of blood. Of course, the Trojan horse scene is what this movie is all about. The use of the word "Trojan" for computer viruses shows how pervasive the concept of the sneaky invader is.

Homer gets a writing credit for the Iliad.

Spoiler warning: Paris kills Achilles, who killed Paris' brother Hector. Achilles gets a spear right in the achilles tendon; what irony! ;-) {BB}
