    Jackie Chan's First Strike [22]

    Expectation Reviews
    First a disclosure.....I've been a Jackie Chan fan since I first saw him many (many) years ago while living in Hawaii. Of course the only movies he was making then were only in english sub-titles. (Some I watched were in Chinese with Japanese sub-titles.) Even then, the physical skill and comic timing came through without translation. So I am very glad to see him back on the American Screen and to see that the American audience has not been poisoned by the over population of sucky people-action films lately.

    Jackie Chan doesn't make great plotted movies. He makes great physical action films. And if he doesn't kill himself, he will continue to. If the blood spatter is low, I would even recommned this as a pretty good date film. So take your buddies, and enjoy. {AB}
